We understand the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle here at Ashridge, which is why our Activities Coordinators spend time thinking up stimulating programmes and interesting events. Our residents are encouraged to pursue their hobbies, join in games and enjoy regular day trips.

Christmas is always a magical time of year, and Ashridge staff are always coming up with wonderful activities and day trips for residents to be a part of. Click below to see what’s in store for residents at Ashridge this Christmas… Garden Lounge Christmas Activities 2017
The residents receive regular visits from Pet Pals, an organisation that specialise in bringing live animals into homes, schools and local organisations. Every month is a surprise as to what animal they will bring next, and this month Ashridge were lucky enough to have a visit from Tic-Tac a 2-year-old goat!
It was all rather spooky at Ashridge Court, when the home was transformed for Halloween!
Everything was sparkling when Ashridge Court held a fantastic Strictly Come Dancing afternoon, with both of the Activities team members waltzing round the lounge entertaining all the residents. The room was decorated with colourful material and of course the most important thing – glitter!
On Thursday 24th August, residents and staff had a ball for their Carnival Extravaganza day. The Garden Lounge was decorated with balloons, bunting and Carnival masks, hand-made by the residents.
Ashridge Court Care Centre held their annual Summer Fete on Saturday 29th July, and despite the British weather not being on their side it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. The team dressed up the home with bunting, gazebo’s outside and a sweet cart!
