Birling Gap & Cuckmere River
Pentlow residents have been enjoying the sunshine and took a trip to the beautiful Birling Gap and Cuckmere River.
The summer really is the best time to enjoy wonderful sights, such as Birling Gap, and with only a short journey ride, Pentlow residents visit regularly. Residents enjoyed the views, with an array of butterflies fluttering around in the grass, and watched some of the birds nesting in the scrub and on the cliffs.
The sun really showed the cliffs at their best, with the bright blue sea below it – residents really enjoyed getting out and enjoying that summer breeze.
Residents then journeyed on to Cuckmere River, another beautiful place which is part of the National Trust. It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by everyone, and there was even time to indulge in an ice cream. It would be rude not to after all!
