David Harrison
David has many years’ experience of dealing with operations and maintenance in facilities/property services, plus a thorough understanding of health and safety principles. He has worked on large facilities and maintenance contracts in the Midlands and Kent for prestigious clients such as the Department of Work and Pensions, the University of Kent, and NHS Property Services.
David’s qualifications include Building Service Management (16th Edition, limited duty holder, HVAC, Fire Safety), Institute of Leadership Management’s Level 3 award in Facilities Management, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Asset/Property Management qualification. He is also a member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and has studied with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
At Canford Healthcare, David ensures that all properties are safe and compliant with health, safety, and other legislation. He plans and oversees repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance work carried out by the homes’ facilities teams and external contractors. David is also passionate about developing and empowering people to achieve the best possible service delivery.
