Emma Seamons

Head of Human Resources

Emma is an experienced HR professional who has worked within a variety of sectors such as medicine and healthcare (including NHS 111 and its out-of-hours service), local government, retail and logistics, property and construction, finance/financial services and information technology.

She has managed both small and large teams, both directly and as a matrix manager, within corporate and shared services settings as well as multi-site locations.

Having joined Canford Healthcare’s HR team as an HR Business Partner in 2017, Emma has spent the last seven years implementing and improving processes and systems. She has facilitated the provision of learning and development and provided regular support for our management and homes’ teams.

As Head of Human Resources Emma’s remit includes forming strategy, ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures and managing our HR team. Her aim is for the HR function to deliver best practice in all HR specialist areas such as recruitment, reward and recognition, learning and development, employee engagement and employee relations.
