Although care is an incredibly rewarding career it’s not without its challenges! Our people are dedicated and work hard and selflessly to care for some of society’s most vulnerable people. With that comes plenty of good times and reasons to celebrate, as well as the more difficult moments. We believe that they should be recognised and rewarded for this. We do this in a number of ways – via competitive pay, a suite of industry-leading benefits and family-friendly policies as well as regular recognition via awards.
We run our own internal award schemes to recognise a job well done. These celebrate particular attributes such as efficiency, helpfulness, creativity, knowledge and expertise or being cost-aware.
There are also numerous external awards schemes that celebrate excellence across the sector, promoting best practice within the care home industry and lauding the contribution of outstanding individuals and teams. We nominate our staff for these if we feel that they have gone over and above to support others or receive consistently excellent testimonials from residents, relatives or professional colleagues. Such people are the embodiment of our values of care, family, honesty and commitment and they deserve to be recognised.
